One Click Dubai repairs Jura coffee machines at home and in offices across Dubai, with a technician sent the same day. We work on the ENA, E, S, Z, A and D ranges, the older Impressa machines, and the larger GIGA and WE models that sit in offices.

A Jura is built to be serviced. The brew unit comes out, the milk spout comes apart, and most of what goes wrong is one of a short list of faults: a brew unit that is dirty or dry, a float or contact that lies about the water, a heating block with scale in it, or a grinder that has worn. This page explains each of those, what the message on your display really means, and which jobs are yours and which belong to a technician.

We repair on site wherever possible. A machine that needs bench work is collected, and you agree the price before anything is done.

## Jura coffee machine repair in Dubai: what we fix and what it costs

A Jura repair starts with an AED 100 diagnostic visit, plus 5% VAT. The technician finds the fault, you receive one fixed price, and you decide whether to go ahead. The Jura repairs we carry out cost between AED 80 and AED 400, according to the fault.

| At a glance | |

| Booking | Message us on WhatsApp at any hour. Visits are the same day |
| Machines | Jura ENA, E, S, Z, A, D, Impressa, GIGA and WE |
| Location | Your home or office. A Jura that needs the bench is collected and brought back |
| Parts | Genuine parts |
| Diagnostic visit | AED 100 plus VAT. No extra for evenings or weekends |
| Repair price | AED 80 to AED 400, agreed before the work begins |
| Our guarantee | One month on the parts and labour we fit |

These are the usual Jura jobs from cheapest to dearest. The order is a guide, and the quote you receive is the real figure.

| Repair | Where it falls in the range |
| --- | --- |
| Descale and full clean-out | Lower end |
| Brew unit clean, regrease and seals | Lower to middle |
| Cleaning the water float, grounds contacts and tray strips | Lower end |
| Milk spout and air intake parts | Lower end |
| Water tank valve, hose or drip tray seal | Lower to middle |
| Pump | Middle |
| Ceramic valve or flow meter | Middle |
| Grinder burrs | Middle to upper |
| Grinder motor | Middle to upper |
| Brew unit replacement | Upper end |
| Heating block (thermoblock) or control board | Upper end |

Scale and neglect decide which end of the range you land at. A Jura that has been cleaned and descaled on its prompts normally needs a seal, a spout or a contact. One that has been ignoring them for a year normally needs a brew unit or a heating block. Our [guide to descaling and cleaning a Jura](https://oneclickdubai.com/guides/how-to-descale-a-jura-coffee-machine) explains the four programmes.

## Which Jura do you have? Ranges, names and where to find the model

Jura names its machines by a letter and a number: E8, Z10, S8, ENA 4. The letter is the range and the number is the position within it. The rating plate, usually under the machine or inside the door beside the brew unit, gives the model and a type number. Send us a photo of it when you book, and the technician arrives knowing which brew unit and which spare parts to expect.

| Range | What it is | What we see most |
| --- | --- | --- |
| ENA | The compact entry machines, from the small ENA Micro up to the ENA 8 | Brew unit fouling, clogged spouts, scale in the heating block |
| E | The mid-range with the larger display, such as the E6 and E8 | Brew unit, grinder wear, milk spout |
| S | A step up, with a bigger tank and more drinks, such as the S8 | Heating faults, milk system, tank valve leaks |
| Z | The top home range, Z6, Z8 and Z10, with cold-brew options on the newest | Grinder wear, pump faults, board faults |
| A | Compact machines at a lower price, such as the A1, A5 and A9 | Brew unit, drip tray contacts, small leaks |
| D, J and Impressa | Older machines, including the D6, J-series and the Impressa C, F, X and S | Brew units that have never been serviced, worn seals, failing flow meters |
| GIGA and X | Large, high-volume machines for offices and cafés | Grinders, brew units and pumps from heavy daily use |
| WE | Office machines such as the WE6 and WE8 | Brew unit, milk system, descale and cleaning discipline |

Older Impressa machines are a good example of why the model matters. Many were bought ten or fifteen years ago and are still in daily use. They respond well to a full service, and the seals, tubing and brew unit are worth replacing together. We will tell you if a service is likely to buy you years or if the machine has reached the end.

## Coffema or One Click Dubai? Warranty and who should repair your Jura

Jura machines in the UAE are brought in by Coffema, whose service centre and showroom are in Dubai Investment Park. Coffema states a one-year local warranty on Jura machines, covering service, spare parts and labour, running from the invoice date in the country of purchase.

If your Jura is within that first year and the fault is not caused by limescale or misuse, start with Coffema. Opening the machine yourself or having an unauthorised technician do it can put the warranty at risk, and that is a real cost on a machine that retails for several thousand dirhams. Check the warranty card, and ask Coffema about its opening hours before you travel, because they differ for Ramadan and public holidays.

After the first year, or when the fault is the kind a warranty does not cover, you have a choice. We repair Jura machines at your home or office, which saves you carrying a heavy machine across Dubai and waiting for a bench slot. We charge an AED 100 plus VAT diagnostic, quote the repair at a fixed price before we start, and back our work with a month's warranty on parts and labour.

| Your situation | What we suggest |
| --- | --- |
| Under a year old with a fault that looks like a defect | Contact Coffema first |
| Machine bought abroad | Contact the Jura service in the country you bought it. The local UAE warranty applies to the country of purchase |
| Out of warranty | Book us. We come to you |
| Fault caused by scale or by missed cleaning | Book us. A warranty is unlikely to cover it |
| Office machine in daily use | Book us, and ask about a regular service visit |

We do not claim to be Jura's service centre. We are an independent repairer. We tell you plainly when a machine is better sent to the importer, and we do not open one that is still covered without telling you what that might mean for the warranty.

## What the message on your Jura display means

Jura's display speaks plainly, and most messages are what they say. The table lists the common ones, what to try first, and the point at which a message is a fault.

| Message | Usually means | Try first | Book a technician if |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Fill water tank | The tank is low | Fill it and seat it firmly | It appears with a full tank |
| Empty grounds | The grounds container or tray is full | Empty the container and drip tray together, then put them back | It appears when both are empty |
| Tray missing | The tray is not seated or not detected | Remove and reseat it | It stays after the contacts are cleaned |
| Fill beans | The hopper is empty or the beans are not feeding | Fill the hopper | It appears when the hopper is full |
| Too hot | The machine is too hot to start a maintenance programme | Wait a few minutes and try again | It never clears |
| Press Rinse | The machine wants a rinse | Press the button | It returns straight away |
| Clean, Descale or Filter | A programme is due | Run it | It will not start, or the message returns right after |
| Error, with a number | A fault the machine has logged | Switch off for a few minutes, start again | It returns |

The manual for your model is the final word on the meaning of a number, because the codes differ between ranges. What stays the same is the pattern. A message that clears after you act on it was a prompt. A message that comes straight back is a fault.

## False alarms: when the sensor is wrong, not the tank

Four common Jura complaints are not what they seem. In each one the Jura thinks something is empty, full or missing when it is not, and the cause is a dirty sensor or a stuck part.

### Fill water tank, with a full tank

The tank has a float, and the machine reads it. Limescale grows on the float and its stem until it sticks, and the machine reads the tank as empty. Lift out the float, check that it slides freely, and descale the tank. A sticky float comes back if the tank is not descaled.

### Empty grounds, with an empty container

The machine detects the grounds container with a contact. Coffee oil and damp grounds coat it, and the contact stops registering. Wipe the contacts, dry them, and reseat the container a few times. If the message stays, the contact or its wiring needs a technician.

### Tray missing, with the tray in place

The drip tray carries metal strips that complete a circuit. Milk, coffee and mineral film insulate them. Clean the strips and the slot in the machine with warm water and a drop of washing-up liquid, and dry thoroughly before you put the tray back.

### Fill beans, with a full hopper

Very oily beans stick to the hopper wall and do not fall to the grinder. Empty the hopper, wipe it dry and refill. If the message keeps returning with free-flowing beans, the grinder may be worn or the sensor may be failing.

Dry the contacts and the float properly before you judge the result. A message that stays after a careful clean is a real fault, and the technician can read it directly.

## Jura brew unit problems and Error 8

The brew unit is the heart of a Jura. It is the removable assembly that takes the ground coffee, presses it into a puck, pushes hot water through it and ejects the puck into the grounds container. On most Jura models you can take it out for cleaning, and that is a major reason these machines last.

Error 8 on many Jura machines points to the brew unit. The unit may be dirty or blocked, or it may be stiff because the grease has gone. Switching the machine off, taking out the unit, rinsing it under warm water without soap and letting it dry fully clears many cases. Clean the machine's brew chamber at the same time, and run a full cleaning programme after you put it back.

- Weak coffee, coffee dripping from the spout, or a thin crema often come from a worn or dry brew unit.
- Stiff or grinding movement when the unit goes in or out means the grease has dried and the seals are worn.
- A brew unit that will not seat can be a misaligned unit or a machine whose drive is stuck in the wrong position.
- Wet, soggy pucks in the grounds container mean the unit is not pressing the coffee properly or the water is draining where it should not.
- Cracked plastic or a bent filter screen means the unit needs replacing, not cleaning.

A properly serviced Jura brew unit is cleaned, inspected, regreased with food-safe grease and fitted with fresh seals. Jura machines in homes should have the unit professionally serviced every few years. In an office, it is a regular job. We carry out both, on site.

Replacement is the upper end of the price range. We only recommend it when cleaning and seals have been tried or when the unit is visibly damaged, and we show you the damaged part.

## Jura heating faults: Error 2, Error 5 and slow heat-up

A Jura heats water in a heating block, called a thermoblock. Scale builds in its narrow channels and a temperature sensor tells the machine what is happening. When the sensor and the block disagree, the machine shows an error and stops.

| What happens | Likely cause | What to do |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Error 2 on a cold morning | Sensor reading is outside the expected range | Switch off, wait several minutes, restart. In a cold room, rinse with lukewarm water first |
| Error 2 that returns | Temperature sensor or a scaled block | Descale, then book a visit |
| Error 5 at start-up | The heating block will not reach temperature | Switch off, unplug for a few minutes, start again |
| Error 5 that returns | Failed thermoblock or a thermal fuse | Book a visit |
| Coffee only lukewarm | Scale in the block or a failing element | Descale, then book a visit if it stays |
| Heat-up takes far longer than before | Scale | Descale straight away, since scale tends to accelerate |

Restarting a machine again and again will not clear a heating error. One restart after a pause is reasonable, and a second error is the time to call.

The thermoblock is one of the most expensive parts of a Jura, and scale is the usual cause of its failure. That is why we ask how often the machine has been descaled before we quote.

## Jura grinder problems: noise, wear and poor grind

Jura's grinders are quiet when they are healthy, and they get louder in one of two ways. A harsh grinding sound means something hard has reached the burrs. A thin, whirring sound with no coffee falling means the burrs have worn smooth or the hopper is not feeding.

- Stop the machine as soon as you hear grinding, empty the hopper and look for stones, a piece of packaging or a bean that has hardened.
- Coffee that comes out thin, with little crema and a stream that runs too fast, can mean worn burrs, because the grind no longer holds its size.
- A grinder that stops mid-cycle can be a jammed burr set or a failing motor.
- A hopper that empties but the machine still says fill beans means the beans are not reaching the grinder or the sensor is wrong.

Jura has one rule for grind settings that catches many owners out. The grind must be changed only while the grinder is running. Turning it with the grinder off can force the burrs and damage the setting mechanism. If you have done this and the grind now sounds wrong, or the dial no longer changes the result, book a visit.

A burr replacement is in the middle-to-upper part of the range. We test the grinder first with fresh beans, because oily or stale beans mimic grinder wear. If a grinder is worn and the machine is otherwise healthy, replacing the burrs is usually worth doing.

## Weak coffee, no crema and dripping from the spout

When Jura coffee turns weak or loses its crema, the first questions are about beans and settings, and the next are about the brew unit and the grinder.

| Symptom | First check | Then |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Weak coffee | Strength setting, aroma setting, grind | Brew unit cleaning or service |
| No crema | Age of the beans, whether the beans are very dark and oily | Worn burrs or a worn brew unit |
| Coffee only drips from the spout | Grind too fine, so the water cannot pass | Brew unit blockage or a blocked ceramic valve |
| Coffee runs through fast and thin | Grind too coarse | Worn burrs or a worn brew unit |
| Water but no coffee | Hopper empty or beans stuck | Grinder fault, blocked chute or brew unit |
| Different strength every cup | Beans and settings | Brew unit not seating or a failing grinder sensor |

Jura machines use a pulse-based brewing process on many models, which lets the water sit with the coffee for short periods. It is part of why a Jura makes good coffee from a modest dose. It also means a drag in the brew unit or a loss of seal shows up in the cup quickly.

If the machine runs and the cup is poor, a service of the brew unit and a check of the grinder is the usual answer. We carry out both on site.

## Jura milk system and spout problems

Jura's milk spout is built to be dismantled and cleaned, and it has to be. Milk fat clogs it first, and the small air intake that makes the foam is the part that fails soonest.

- A spout that spits, sprays or makes big bubbles needs a thorough clean, and the air intake may need replacing.
- A spout that produces no foam, only hot milk, usually has a blocked air intake.
- Milk that tastes sour or smells off means the tubing and spout need cleaning with the milk system cleaner and a fresh tube.
- A milk error code on the display usually means the system is blocked or the spout is not fitted properly.

Clean the spout after every milk drink with the rinse programme, and run the full milk system clean on the schedule the machine asks for. The milk system cleaner Jura sells is designed for this, and we use the right product when we service the machine.

A new spout and a new milk tube cost little and fix more problems than people expect. If the spout is clean and the foam is still poor, the pump or the air path may be at fault, and that is a technician job.

## Jura leaks: where the water comes from

A wet worktop under a Jura has several possible sources. Where the water appears points to the cause.

| Where it leaks | Likely cause | What to do |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Into the drip tray, more than expected | Normal rinse cycles, or a full tray | Empty it, and check whether it fills faster than before |
| From the tray itself | Cracked tray or a failed seal | Replace the tray or its seal |
| From the base of the machine | Internal hose, valve or pump seal | Switch off and unplug, then book a visit |
| From the tank connection | Worn valve or seal at the base of the tank | Book a visit |
| From the spout area | Loose spout, damaged tube or a blocked outlet | Check the spout fit, then book a visit |
| Puddle only after descaling or cleaning | A programme that went wrong or a loose part | Check the fit of the tank and tray, then book a visit |

Switch off a Jura that is leaking from inside the base. Water on the electronics is far more costly than the seal that let it out.

## Descaling a Jura, and why the water filter matters

Scale shortens the life of a Jura more than anything else. The thermoblock is narrow, the ceramic valve is precise, and the pump and float both suffer. Dubai tap water is hard, which makes the schedule more important.

- Fit a Jura water filter, such as the CLARIS range, and register it with the machine so the display counts its life. On models with the Intelligent Water System, the machine recognises the filter on its own.
- Replace the filter when the machine asks. A spent filter lets scale through.
- Run the descaling programme when the machine prompts you, with the tablets made for the machine. Do not stop a descaling programme once it has started.
- If you use a filter, the machine descales less often, but it still needs to. A filter reduces scale and does not stop it.
- Rinse the tank and float when you fill it, and do not leave water standing for long.

A descale that has been left for far too long can leave scale in the thermoblock that a normal programme will not shift. In that case a technician flushes the system more thoroughly, and sometimes the block is already beyond saving. The earlier the better.

We descale Jura machines on site, including those that have gone a long time without it, and we tell you honestly if the scale has done lasting damage.

## The Jura care routine: what to do and how often

| How often | What to do |
| --- | --- |
| After switching off | Remove the drip tray and empty it, so the machine does not sit damp |
| Daily | Let the automatic rinse cycles run, and empty the grounds container when asked |
| Weekly | Wash the drip tray, grille and grounds container. Clean the milk spout if you use milk daily |
| Monthly | Run the full cleaning programme with a cleaning tablet. Wipe the bean container |
| Every two to three months | Descale, more often in hard water |
| When the machine asks | Change the water filter |
| Every three to four years | Have a technician service the brew unit |

These intervals are a guide. Jura's own prompts take priority, because they count the cups you actually make. If you run the cleaning and descaling programmes when asked, you avoid most Jura repairs.

## Normal Jura behaviour that is not a fault

Several things owners report as faults are the machine doing its job. Knowing them saves a call.

- A rinse of water from the spout when you switch on and again when you switch off. The machine flushes its own system, and the water lands in the drip tray.
- A wet or damp puck in the grounds container. A little moisture is normal, and soggy, runny pucks are the ones that point to a brew unit fault.
- A short delay and some noise before the first cup after a long idle spell, while the heating block warms.
- A drip tray that fills faster than you expect. The rinses and the cleaning programmes all go into it, so empty it when the display asks.
- A change in sound as the grinder runs through its range. Fine grinds sound deeper and slower than coarse ones.

What is not normal is a rinse that runs constantly, water pooling under the machine, or a message that returns the moment you clear it.

## A Jura that came from abroad, or is being moved

Many Jura machines in the UAE were bought on trips or shipped from other countries, and that raises two checks before any repair.

- Check the voltage on the plate. The UAE supply is 230 V. A machine built for 120 V, such as one sold in North America, should not be run from a UAE socket, with or without a travel converter. Running a mismatched machine can destroy the heating block and the board, and the fault is not a warranty matter.
- Check the plug. A travel adaptor on a machine that draws a heavy current can run hot, so use a proper UAE plug.
- Expect the warranty to belong to the country of purchase. Coffema's terms refer to the country of purchase, so a machine bought elsewhere is normally for that country's Jura service.

When you move a Jura across town, empty the tank, the drip tray and the grounds container, remove the milk tube, and carry it upright. Let it stand for an hour in its new place before you switch on, then run a rinse. Water left in the tank or the hoses will leak in a car, and a machine tipped on its side can send water into places it should not go.

## Leaving a Jura for the summer

Many households in Dubai travel for weeks in July and August. A Jura left full and switched off for that long can grow a film in the tank and the hoses, and the milk tube can turn.

- Run a cleaning programme and a milk system clean before you go, then switch the machine off at the wall.
- Empty the water tank, the drip tray and the grounds container, and wipe the float.
- Empty the bean hopper if you will be away for more than a couple of weeks, since beans stale and the oil builds on the hopper wall.
- Throw away any milk, and leave the milk tube and spout out to dry.
- On your return, fill the tank with fresh water, run a rinse, and pour away the first cup.

A machine that smells musty or tastes flat after a long absence usually needs a full clean and a new filter. If it shows an error as well, book a visit.

## Repair or replace a Jura

Most Jura machines are worth repairing, because they are built around parts that can be cleaned, replaced and regreased. The question is which part has failed and how old the machine is.

| Your Jura | Is repair usually worth it? |
| --- | --- |
| ENA Micro or A-series with a cheap fault such as a spout or tray part | Yes |
| ENA 4 or ENA 8, brew unit or grinder | Yes, unless the machine is very old |
| E-series (E6, E8) | Yes. These are built to be serviced |
| S-series and Z-series | Yes. A repair costs far less than a new machine |
| Impressa C, F, X and S | Often yes, as a full service. Ask us first for an honest view of age and condition |
| Heating block or control board on an entry machine | Weigh it. If the quote nears half the price of a new machine, replace it |
| GIGA and WE office machines | Often, since they are built for heavy use |

Our rule is simple. If a repair costs more than about half the price of a comparable new machine, we say buy new. Below that, Jura repairs are usually good value, because the machine is built to be maintained.

## Jura machines in offices and cafés

Offices run Jura WE, GIGA and X machines through hundreds of cups a week. They hold up well when they are looked after and fail quickly when they are not.

- Schedule a service visit about every six months so the brew unit, grinder and milk system are checked before a failure.
- Keep a written cleaning log, so each shift knows when the machine was last cleaned and descaled.
- Train one person to run the cleaning and descaling programmes, instead of leaving it to whoever notices.
- Use the correct cleaning tablets and milk system cleaner, not general substitutes.
- Keep a spare spout and milk tube on site, since these are the parts that wear out first.

We also repair commercial machines from other makers, and we can look at your whole coffee setup and tell you where the next failure is likely.

## What happens at a Jura repair visit

1. **Before we arrive**: You send a photo of the plate and tell us the exact wording on the display, when it first showed, and what you have already tried.
2. **Brew unit and tray**: The brew unit is taken out, inspected for wear, grease and cracks, and the tray and grounds contacts are checked.
3. **Heating and pump**: Heat-up time and temperature are checked, and the pump pressure is tested against the machine's behaviour.
4. **Grinder and milk system**: The grinder is run and listened to, and the spout and milk tubing are inspected.
5. **Price and repair**: The technician gives you a single price. On your go-ahead the brew unit seals, spout or other part are fitted there and then where they can be.
6. **Test drinks**: An espresso and a milk drink are made, a rinse is run, and you get an invoice and a month's guarantee on what was fitted.

A Jura that has to go to the bench is only taken with your agreement.

## Frequently asked questions

### Who repairs Jura coffee machines in Dubai?

Coffema is the importer and handles warranty service. For work outside warranty, One Click Dubai repairs Jura machines at your home or office the same day. Message us on WhatsApp at +971 55 209 9785.

### How much does Jura repair cost in Dubai?

Diagnosis is AED 100 plus VAT. The repair is between AED 80 and AED 400 depending on the fault, and the price is fixed before we start.

### Why does my Jura say Fill water tank when it is full?

The float in the tank has probably stuck with limescale. Lift it out, check that it moves freely, and descale the tank.

### Why does my Jura say Empty grounds when it is empty?

The detection contact is dirty or damp. Wipe and dry the contacts, then reseat the container.

### What does Error 8 mean on a Jura?

On many models it points to the brew unit. Switch off, remove the unit, rinse it in warm water and let it dry, then run a cleaning programme. If it stays, book a visit.

### Why is my Jura making weak coffee?

Check the strength and grind settings and the age of the beans. If those are right, the brew unit needs cleaning or servicing, or the burrs are worn.

### Can I change the grind on my Jura at any time?

No. Change it only while the grinder is running. Turning it while it is off can damage the setting mechanism.

### Why is milk not frothing on my Jura?

The milk spout or the air intake is probably blocked. Clean the spout thoroughly, and replace the air intake part if it still will not foam.

### How often should I descale a Jura?

When the machine asks. As a guide that is every few months, and more often in hard water. A water filter lowers how fast scale builds.

### Is it worth repairing an old Jura Impressa?

Often yes, particularly a full service of the brew unit, seals and tubing. We will tell you honestly if the machine is too far gone.

### Do you repair Jura office machines?

Yes. We repair the WE and GIGA ranges and offer regular service visits for offices.

### Will repairing my Jura void the warranty?

If the machine is within Coffema's one-year warranty, unauthorised work can put it at risk. Check with Coffema first. Out of warranty, there is nothing to void.
