Overview
One Click Dubai repairs Nespresso machines at home across Dubai, with a technician sent the same day. We repair Original line machines such as the Essenza Mini, Pixie, Inissia, CitiZ, Lattissima and Creatista, Vertuo machines such as the Vertuo Next, Vertuo Pop and Vertuo Plus, and Aeroccino milk frothers.
Before you pay for a repair, check one thing: whether the machine is still inside Nespresso's two-year warranty. If it is, and the fault is a defect, Nespresso's own after-sales team may fix it at no charge. If it is out of warranty, or the problem is limescale, which the warranty does not cover, that is where we come in. The section on Nespresso's service against ours spells out which is which.
The page then explains the difference between Original and Vertuo machines, because it decides what goes wrong. After that it works through the common faults: no water, capsules not read or stuck, leaks, blinking lights, a descale light that will not clear, and milk system problems.
Nespresso machine repair in Dubai: what we fix and what it costs
The first step is an AED 100 diagnostic visit, plus 5% VAT, where the technician finds out what has failed. You then receive one fixed price and decide. The Nespresso repairs we carry out cost between AED 80 and AED 400, according to the fault.
The next table puts common Nespresso jobs in order of cost within that range. It is not a quote.
Limescale sets the price on many Nespresso jobs. A machine that has been descaled on time usually needs a seal or a pump. One that has not often needs the thermoblock as well, and the thermoblock is the dearer part. Our step-by-step guide to descaling a Nespresso machine covers the Original and Vertuo sequences.
Nespresso service center in Dubai: Nespresso's service or ours?
Most people who search for a Nespresso service center are looking for somewhere to take the machine. Nespresso's UAE service page describes a different arrangement: its after-sales team collects the machine at a time you arrange, lends you one when needed, and returns the repaired machine. Machine assistance is available from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm.
Nespresso gives its machines a two-year warranty from the date of purchase, against defects in materials and workmanship. Its terms say plainly that cleaning and descaling are not covered as a warranty repair. An international warranty exists too, but it applies only to the same model that Nespresso sells in the UAE, running on the same 220 volt supply.
If your machine is under warranty, read Nespresso's terms before anyone opens it, ours included. We will tell you honestly if we think the fault is a warranty case.
Nespresso Original or Vertuo: why the faults differ
The two Nespresso lines share a name and little else. The capsules are different shapes, the brewing method is different, and so are the parts that wear out. Knowing which line you own tells you where to look first.
A Vertuo capsule will not fit an Original machine, and an Original capsule will not work in a Vertuo. If a capsule seems to fit and the machine misbehaves, check that you have the right type before anything else.
How to tell which line you have
Look at the capsule you use, then at the head of the machine. A Vertuo machine takes a wide, domed capsule into a round head, and the machine's name usually has Vertuo in it. An Original machine takes a small capsule into a narrow slot or holder at the top. The model name and type code are on the rating plate under the machine or behind the tank. Send us a photo of it when you book.
Nespresso models we repair, and where each is weak
Each model has its own pattern of faults. They fall into groups by how the machines are built.
Older Original machines such as the U and Prodigio are still common in Dubai homes. They are repairable, though parts for the oldest models can take longer to source. We will tell you before you commit.
Nespresso will not turn on, or the lights blink and nothing happens
A Nespresso that shows nothing at all has lost power before the board. One that blinks and refuses to brew is telling you something with its lights, but the meaning depends on the model. The colour, the rhythm and what the machine was doing when it started all matter.
What you can check safely
Nespresso's machine assistance page and your manual cover the lights for your model. Do not copy a light pattern from a general list online. The same colour means different things on different models. When you book, tell us the colour, whether it is steady, a slow pulse or a fast blink, and what the machine was doing.
What the technician does
If the machine will not start, the technician tests the cord, the power switch and the power board. If it starts but blinks, the technician reads the sensors involved: the lever or head position switch, the tank sensor, the flow meter and the temperature sensor. A fault light is usually a sensor reporting something real, such as a head that is not closing, water that is not flowing, or a heater that is not warming.
If the board is the fault, we find out why it failed. Water on the board, a seized pump or a short in the heater circuit will kill the replacement as well.
Nespresso not brewing, or no water comes out
A Nespresso that runs but delivers no coffee has a water problem or a capsule problem. Start by working out which. If water comes out but no coffee, the capsule is the issue. If nothing comes out, the water path is.
Lift it off, check the valve in its base for debris, and push it down until it clicks. A tank that sits slightly off lets air in and the pump cannot prime.
Put a large cup under the outlet and run a cycle. A steady stream means the water path is clear and the fault is with the capsule or the piercing.
If the machine ran dry, fill the tank and run several rinse cycles until the flow is steady. Stop after three cycles, since a pump that runs dry overheats.
A damp, dented or expired capsule can fail to brew. So can an Original capsule in the wrong position.
When it is a fault
Nespresso machines use a flow meter to count the water going through. If scale or debris stops it, the machine believes nothing is moving and stops the cycle, even though the pump works. Replacing a good pump would not cure that. The technician reads the flow meter signal and the pump current to tell the two apart.
Nespresso Vertuo will not read the capsule
A Vertuo machine reads a barcode around the rim of every capsule to set the water volume, temperature and spin. If it cannot read the code, it will not brew. The light blinks, the head may close and open, and nothing comes out.
What you can check safely
A dirty reader is a common cause on a Vertuo that is used daily. Coffee dust and a thin film of steam collect on the sensor window, and the machine reads fewer capsules correctly until it reads none. Capsules from a damp store or a hot car also fail more often than ones kept dry.
How the repair goes
The technician checks the sensor window, the reader and its wiring, and the head mechanism that holds the capsule while it spins. A reader that is dirty is cleaned. A reader that has failed is replaced. If the head does not close all the way, a worn motor or a bent part may be at fault, and the head assembly is replaced. We test with capsules of each size before leaving, since a reader can work for some codes and not others.
Nespresso Original: capsule not pierced, stuck, or will not eject
On an Original machine the capsule is pierced in the holder, and hot water is forced through. If it is not pierced cleanly, or sticks afterwards, you get a trickle, a mess, or a capsule that will not leave the machine.
Do not force a lever or dig at a stuck capsule with a knife. The holder and the piercing parts are small and precise, and a bent part never seals again.
What we find when we open it
The technician opens the holder area, removes foil and grounds from the piercing parts and cleans the seals. A worn capsule holder or a damaged sealing ring is replaced. If the lever mechanism is worn, the parts are fitted that restore the closing action. Afterwards the machine is run with real capsules and checked for leaks around the holder.
Nespresso leaking water
Unplug the machine before you do anything else, then look at where the water is. Water that reaches the electronics turns a small repair into a large one.
If the leak stops when the tank is lifted off and starts again when it is refilled, look at the tank and its valve first. They are cheap parts.
A seal that has hardened with age leaks long before it breaks. On an Original machine the sealing ring at the capsule holder takes pressure on every cup, and it goes hard and flat in time. If coffee has begun to squirt or leak at the sides of the capsule area, the ring is the first thing to replace.
Nespresso coffee that is weak, cold, short or inconsistent
When a Nespresso works but the cup is wrong, rule out the simple things first. Most are quick to check.
Volumes that return to factory settings are common complaint after a power cut or a trip of the circuit. The machine has not failed. The cup sizes have been wiped, and reprogramming them takes a minute.
Lukewarm coffee is a different story. A heater that is struggling through a coating of scale takes longer to reach temperature and loses heat on the way. If you descale and the cup is still lukewarm, the temperature sensor or the heater itself is at fault. The technician tests both with a meter and replaces the one that is outside its range.
The Nespresso descale light will not go out
A descale light that stays on has one of three causes: the machine has not been descaled, the descaling cycle was interrupted or not completed, or the machine is so blocked that the cycle cannot finish. Descaling is on Nespresso's own list of things the warranty does not cover, so it falls to you or to us.
Why the light stays on
Use the Nespresso descaling kit, or a descaler the maker approves, and follow the steps for your exact model. Nespresso publishes them per model. Do not clear the light by any other method. A cleared warning does not remove scale, and the scale goes on damaging the heater.
Clearing it properly
The technician runs the descaling in stages, so loosened scale is caught instead of lodging in the pump, then flushes the circuit until the water runs clear and resets the counter. If the flow stays weak afterwards, the thermoblock or a valve is partly blocked or worn, and that is quoted separately. A machine that has never been descaled and has gone slow is better handled by us than by a first DIY cycle, because a first cycle can free flakes that jam the pump.
Nespresso making a loud or unusual noise
Nespresso machines are not silent, but a change in sound is useful information. What you hear points to the part.
A noise that appears suddenly and is loud is worth a visit. A pump that is working against a blockage burns out sooner than one that is not, and replacing it after the blockage is cleared costs less than replacing the pump and then the heater.
Lattissima, Creatista and Aeroccino milk problems
Milk faults are different from coffee faults. The machine can brew well and still fail at the milk, and the cause is often dried milk, a missing or worn part, or scale in the steam path.
Aeroccino 3 and 4
The Aeroccino is a separate frother on a base. If it will not froth or heat, check that the correct whisk or coil is fitted and seated, that the jug is on its base and that the base contacts are clean and dry. Milk residue on the whisk and in the jug stops it spinning. If it heats but does not froth, the whisk is missing or worn. If it does neither, the base electronics have failed, and a replacement is often cheaper than a repair.
Lattissima, Gran Lattissima and Vertuo Lattissima
These machines draw milk through a tube into a built-in system. If milk comes out thin, spits, or stops, the tube or the milk system is blocked with dried milk. Run the cleaning programme the manual describes as soon as you finish using milk, and wash the milk parts by hand each time. Where the system is already blocked, the technician takes it apart, clears it and replaces the tube or seals that have hardened.
Creatista
The Creatista has a steam wand and heats milk by steam. A weak or spitting wand has a blocked tip or scale in the steam path. Unscrew the tip, clear each hole with a pin, and wipe and purge the wand after every use. If the steam is still weak with a clean tip, the steam circuit needs descaling or the steam valve is at fault.
Nespresso capsules and what they do to a machine
Most capsule problems are not machine faults, but a few are. It is worth knowing which.
If a capsule has caused the fault, we repair the fault and tell you what we think caused it.
Repair or replace a Nespresso machine
Nespresso machines vary a lot in price, so use a simple test: when the quote passes about half the cost of a similar new machine, buy new. Under that, repair.
If the machine is within Nespresso's two-year warranty and the fault is a defect, use Nespresso. We will tell you if we think that is the better route.
Descaling and care for a Nespresso machine
Regular descaling does more than anything else to keep a Nespresso out of the workshop. Nespresso gives the steps for each model, so only the points that bear on repair are covered here.
A machine that is still slow, lukewarm or blinking after a descale has a worn part as well as scale, and that is a repair.
What happens at a Nespresso repair visit
The model name, the type code from the rating plate and the colour and rhythm of any light. A Vertuo and an Original need different parts.
The technician runs a rinse with no capsule, then a capsule of the right type, and watches water flow, pump sound and capsule head or lever.
Depending on what the test shows, the barcode reader, the pump, the flow meter or the thermoblock is tested with a meter, one at a time.
One fixed price for part and labour. You can say no and pay only the diagnostic.
The part goes in, the machine is cleaned, and it brews real coffee. On milk machines the milk system is run and checked for leaks.
A written invoice and one month's warranty on parts and labour.
Collected for bench work
A board with water damage, a thermoblock that needs the machine stripped, a fault that only appears after hours of use, or a part that must be ordered can mean the machine goes to our workshop. You are told first, the price is agreed first, and the machine comes back to you.

Frequently asked questions
Who repairs Nespresso machines in Dubai?
One Click Dubai repairs Nespresso machines at home across Dubai, the same day. Message us on WhatsApp at +971 55 209 9785.
Where is the Nespresso service center in Dubai?
Nespresso's UAE service page describes a collect-and-return after-sales service, with machine assistance by phone. One Click Dubai comes to you instead, and repairs the machine at your home in most cases.
How much does Nespresso machine repair cost in Dubai?
The diagnostic visit is AED 100 plus VAT. The repair costs between AED 80 and AED 400 depending on the fault, and is quoted at a fixed price before any work starts.
Is my Nespresso machine still under warranty?
Nespresso's UAE terms give a two-year warranty from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. Cleaning and descaling are not covered. If your machine is inside that period, check Nespresso's terms first.
Why is my Nespresso not making coffee?
Either water is not reaching the capsule or the capsule is not being pierced or read. Reseat the tank, run a rinse with no capsule, and try a fresh capsule of the right type. If nothing improves, the pump, the flow meter or the thermoblock needs testing.
Why does my Nespresso Vertuo not read the capsule?
The barcode on the rim may be damaged or damp, the capsule may not be seated flat, or the reader may be dirty or failed. Try a different capsule first. A dirty or failed reader needs a technician.
Why is my Nespresso leaking?
Water around the capsule area points to a worn seal. Water under the machine when idle points to the tank valve, an internal hose or the heater. Unplug the machine and book a visit before water reaches the electronics.
Why will the descale light not go out?
The cycle was not completed, the wrong button sequence was used, or the machine is too blocked to finish. Follow Nespresso's steps for your exact model. If the light stays on after a complete cycle, book a visit.
Why is my Nespresso making a loud noise?
A loud pump usually means air in the circuit or a blockage, most often scale. Purge the air once. If the noise continues, the pump is under strain and should be checked.
Can I use other brands of capsule?
Original capsules and compatible capsules for the Original line exist, but a loose-fitting capsule can leak or jam. If a fault began after a change of brand, go back to the old capsule and try again.
Do you repair Aeroccino milk frothers?
Yes, for faults such as a missing whisk, a worn coil or dirty contacts. If the base electronics have failed, replacing the frother is usually cheaper.
Can you repair a Nespresso I bought abroad?
Yes, provided the plate says 230 volts. A machine built for 110 to 120 volts needs a transformer, or the supply in Dubai will damage it.
Is it worth repairing my Nespresso?
For most mid and higher-end models, yes. For low-cost models with a failed board or thermoblock, compare the quote with the price of a new machine. If the quote is more than about half, replacing is usually the better choice.
