Overview
One Click Dubai repairs Beko washing machines in homes across Dubai, with a technician on the way the same day. We repair Beko front loaders of every size, including ProSmart Inverter models, and Beko washer dryers.
Beko owners search for faults far more than for anything else, and four faults account for nearly all of it: the machine will not spin, it leaks, it will not drain, or it will not start. This page takes each of those apart in detail, then covers power loss, the door, the control board, the pump, washer dryers and the display.
Parts fitted are genuine Beko parts, matched to the model number on the label inside the door.
Beko washing machine repair in Dubai: what you need to know
Beko washing machine repair in Dubai with One Click Dubai begins with a AED 100 diagnostic visit, plus VAT. The technician finds the fault at your home, gives you a fixed price, and for most Beko faults completes the work during that visit.
The Beko model number begins with letters such as WTV, WTE, WMY, WCV or, for washer dryers, WDW or HTV, and it is on a label inside the door opening. Beko shares its designs with Blomberg, which we also repair.
Beko washing machine not spinning
A Beko washing machine not spinning has, in most cases, chosen not to spin. The control checks that the water has gone, that the load is balanced and that foam is low before it lets the drum run fast. If one check fails, a Beko washer won't spin, or spins briefly at low speed and stops. A real drive fault is the less common cause.
Start with these three checks
If so, this is a drain fault. Go to the draining section.
One heavy item, such as a bath mat, a single towel or a duvet cover, cannot be balanced. Add two or three items of medium size and run Spin.
Thick foam at the door glass makes the machine replace the spin with rinses. Run a rinse, then spin, and reduce the dose next time.
Then test the drive
Empty the drum and run the Spin programme. If the empty drum reaches full speed, the motor, belt and control are healthy and the cause is load, foam or suspension. If it does not, a part has failed.
Beko washer dryer not spinning
A Beko washer dryer not spinning before the drying phase leaves the load too wet to dry. The causes are the same as on a washer. Deal with the spin first, and the drying time usually returns to normal.
Brushed and inverter motors
Older and entry-level Beko machines use a brushed motor with two carbon brushes, which wear and are replaced. ProSmart Inverter machines use a brushless motor with no wearing electrical parts, still driven through a belt. On those, a belt or a control fault is far more likely than the motor itself.
More background on every cause is in our not spinning guide.
Beko washing machine leaking
A Beko washing machine leaking has a fault at one of six places: the door seal, the detergent drawer, the pump filter, an internal hose, the pump or the tub seal. Where the water appears and at which point in the cycle tells you which.
Beko washing machine door seal leaking
The door seal is the most common leak on a Beko. Run a finger round the inside of the fold. A coin, a hair grip or a bra wire lodged there holds the seal off the glass and cuts into the rubber. Small tears at the bottom of the seal, where water sits, are the usual damage. A seal that is only dirty can be cleaned with a cloth and a little detergent. A torn one must be replaced.
Beko washing machine seal replacement
We remove the wire band around the door opening, peel the seal off the front panel, release the inner spring clamp from the tub lip, and lift the seal out. The tub lip is cleaned, the new seal is seated with its drain holes at the bottom, and both bands go back. A rinse programme is then run with a torch on the join. It takes 45 minutes to an hour at home.
Leaks you cannot see
Some Beko models have a tray in the base with a float switch. Water collecting there stops the machine and runs the pump. A Beko that pumps continuously and refuses to start a wash has water in its base, even if the floor is dry.
For an active leak, close the tap, unplug and call us. Step-by-step tracing is in the leaking guide.
Beko washing machine not draining
A Beko washing machine not draining stops with water in the drum, will not spin and keeps its door locked. A blocked pump filter is the cause more often than anything else, and clearing it takes ten minutes.
And put towels down. Several litres will come out.
It is at the bottom right of the front panel. Some models have a small drain hose behind it. Pull it out, remove its plug and drain into a low tray.
Anticlockwise, slowly if there is no drain hose.
Remove lint, coins and clips. Check that the impeller at the back of the cavity turns with a little resistance.
Fully home and tight, or it will leak.
No kinks behind the machine, and not pushed more than a hand's width into the standpipe.
And listen for the pump.
Beko ProSmart Inverter washing machine not draining
ProSmart Inverter describes the wash motor, not the pump. A Beko ProSmart Inverter washing machine not draining has the same filter, hose and pump as any other Beko, and the same checks apply. Do not be put off by the name.
If your Beko washer won't drain after all of this
The pump needs replacing in most such cases. It is fixed to the filter housing by screws or a twist lock and is changed from underneath or through the front in about 40 minutes. See the not draining guide for pictures.
Beko washing machine not starting
A Beko washing machine not starting, with the display or lights on, is waiting for a condition it needs before it will fill: a locked door, the child lock off, no delay set, and a programme properly selected. This is the pattern people describe as a Beko washing machine that turns on but won't start.
Start button not working
A Beko washing machine Start button not working is rarely a failed button. Usually the button works and the machine is declining to start. The exception is a touch panel that has been splashed: moisture under the fascia makes keys unresponsive or makes them trigger by themselves. Dry the panel, leave the machine off for an hour and try again. If it stays erratic, the display board needs replacing.
Cancelling a stuck programme
On most Beko machines, holding Start/Pause for about three seconds cancels the running programme. The machine drains, and the door releases a minute or two later. This is the proper way to stop a Beko. Turning it off at the wall mid-cycle leaves it full of water with the door locked.
A full checklist for any brand is in our guide to a washing machine that won't start.
Beko washing machine no power, no lights
A Beko washing machine with no power and no lights, one that won't turn on at all, has lost its supply or has a failed mains filter or control board. Work from the wall inward.
Plug in something else. Check for a wall switch or isolator serving the socket.
Look for heat marks on the pins and replace the fuse with one of the same rating.
If it has tripped, reset it once. If it trips again when the washer is plugged in, stop: there is an earth fault in the machine.
Turn the dial fully to Off and then to a programme, or hold the on/off key for two seconds.
Leave it unplugged for five minutes and try again.
With a good supply and a dead machine, the fault is inside. In order of likelihood: the mains interference filter where the cable enters, a burnt connector on the board, or the board's own power supply. A Beko washer dryer with no power is tested the same way, with the drying heater added to the list of suspects for anything that trips the breaker.
Beko boards are sensitive to supply surges. If the machine died during a storm, a building power shutdown or the moment the power came back, tell us. It changes what we bring.
Beko washing machine door not locking, or locked
A Beko washing machine door not locking will not start a wash, because the control waits for the lock before it fills. A door that stays locked after the wash has water behind it or a failed lock.
Several Beko models have an emergency release: a small handle or strap behind the filter cover. Pull it downward while pushing the door, and repeat if needed. Use it only when the drum is empty of water and has stopped.
A door lock is replaced from the front in about half an hour. Our door locked guide covers the general steps.
Beko washing machine PCB repair
Beko washing machine PCB repair is the fix when the machine is dead with a good supply, freezes mid-programme, shows a fault that survives a restart with every part testing good, or fails to switch one function such as the heater, the pump or a valve.
Common board faults on Beko machines
Repair or replace
Where one or two components have failed, we repair the board on the bench in our workshop, and the machine stays at your home. Where the board is burnt or its processor has failed, we fit a genuine Beko board configured for the model. We always test the heater, pump, valves, lock and motor first, because a faulty part will destroy a new board as it did the old one.
Boards bought online by model name alone often will not work. Beko boards are specific to the machine's full model and version, and many need configuring when fitted.
Beko washing machine pump replacement
Beko washing machine pump replacement is needed when the pump hums without moving water, runs noisily, leaks from its body, or does not run at all with power reaching it.
Is it the pump?
The job
We drain the machine, tilt it back or remove the lower front panel, unplug the pump's connector, release the pump from the filter housing and fit the new one. The housing and sump hose are cleaned out at the same time, because whatever damaged the old pump is often still in there. Then a drain test is run several times. Allow 40 minutes.
A new pump lasts for years if the filter is cleaned regularly and pockets are checked. Most pumps we replace were killed by a coin, a screw or a hair grip.
Beko washer dryers: not heating and not drying properly
A Beko washer dryer not heating during the drying phase, or not drying properly, has a fault in the drying system. The drum turns and the timer runs, and the laundry stays wet or only warm and damp.
Most Beko washer dryers condense steam with a small flow of cold water, so the cold tap must be open during drying as well as washing. If the tap is turned off after the wash, drying will be slow and the cabinet will get damp.
The drying capacity is lower than the washing capacity. A full 8 kg wash must be split in two to dry properly. More is on our washer dryer repair page.
What the Beko display and lights are telling you
Beko machines signal problems in three ways: a symbol on the display, a flashing programme or stage light, or a code. Beko's code numbers vary between ranges and years, so the safest guide is the symbol and the behaviour.
If your display shows a code, write down the letter and the number before switching off. Combined with the model number, it lets us look up the exact meaning for your machine and bring the likely part.
Beko washing machine service centre in Dubai
If you are looking for a Beko washing machine service centre in Dubai, One Click Dubai sends the service to you: a technician with genuine Beko parts at your home the same day.
A visit follows five steps. You book with the model and the symptom. The technician tests the machine and the suspect part. You are given a fixed price. The repair is done and a full programme is run. You receive an invoice with the warranty stated.
We also service Beko machines that are working. That covers the filter and pump chamber, inlet filter, drawer and jets, door seal, belt, brushes on brushed motors, shock absorbers and a drum clean programme. And we install Beko washers, including built-in models with a furniture door.
Beko repair cost, and repair or replace
Beko washing machine repair in Dubai typically costs AED 150 to AED 400 at market rates for a pump, door lock, belt, brushes, seal or heater, and AED 400 to AED 900 for a PCB, motor or bearings. Our diagnostic visit is AED 100 plus VAT.
Beko machines are good value new, so the replace point arrives earlier than on a premium brand. Our rule: any repair under half the price of an equivalent new machine is worth doing on a washer under seven years old. Above that, we show you both options.
We cover all of Dubai, including Dubai Marina, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, JLT, Downtown, Business Bay, Jumeirah, Al Barsha, Dubai Hills and Deira. See our main washing machine repair page for other brands.
Beko washing machine softener dispenser not draining, and a leaking soap drawer
A Beko washing machine with softener not draining from the dispenser has a blocked siphon in the softener compartment. A Beko washing machine leaking from the soap dispenser has blocked water jets above the drawer or too much powder caked in it.
Fabric softener drawer not draining
Press down on the siphon or the marked tab in the softener compartment and slide the drawer free.
It is the small coloured cap in the softener compartment. Rinse it and the post beneath it in warm water until the fine channel is clear.
Scrub the roof of the drawer recess with an old toothbrush to open the jets.
Push the siphon down until it clicks, and slide the drawer back.
Keep fabric conditioner below the MAX line and thin a concentrated one with water. If softener is still left behind, the water reaching that compartment is too weak: low pressure, a blocked inlet filter or a tired inlet valve.
Soap drawer leaking
Water running down the front from the soap drawer while the machine fills means the jets are partly blocked and spraying sideways, the drawer is packed with damp powder, or the water pressure is very high. Clean the drawer and recess, use a little less powder, and turn the tap down slightly. If it continues, the hose from the drawer housing to the tub is blocked and water is backing up, which is also one cause of a Beko washing machine flooding the floor during the fill.
Beko models we repair, installation and maintenance
We repair every Beko washing machine sold in the UAE, old and new, and the faults on this page apply across the range.
Models
Older WM, WMB, WME and WMI models, such as the WM5100W, WM5120W, WM6112W, WM6123W, WM74135W, WM74145W, WMB71231B, WMB71442W, WMB 81445 LW, WME8227 and WMI71641, mostly use brushed motors. When one of these is not spinning and the drum does not turn at all, carbon brushes are the first suspect. Compact 5kg models and the XL9 behave the same way. Current WTV, WTE and WCV ranges with ProSmart Inverter motors have no brushes, and a no-spin fault points to the belt or the control.
Beko washing machine installation
Installation covers the transit bolts, levelling, the inlet hose and the drain hose. Beko washing machine drain hose installation matters more than it looks: the end must sit between the minimum and maximum heights in the manual and must not be pushed deep into the standpipe, or the machine siphons and a Beko washing machine not emptying or filling correctly is the result. We also install machines sold under the Voltas Beko name.

Frequently asked questions
Why is my Beko washing machine not spinning?
Water left in the drum, an unbalanced load or too much foam in most cases. If the empty drum will not spin either, the belt, brushes or control has failed.
Why won't my Beko washer drain?
A blocked pump filter, usually. Then the drain hose, then the pump.
Why is my Beko washing machine leaking?
The door seal is the most common source, followed by the pump filter, the drawer, hoses and the pump.
My Beko washing machine turns on but won't start. Why?
The child lock is on, the door has not locked, a delay is set, or the door lock has failed.
Why is the Start button not working on my Beko?
The button is usually fine. Check the child lock and the door. A damp touch panel can also cause it.
My Beko has no power and no lights. What should I check?
The socket, plug fuse and breaker. If the supply is good, the mains filter or the board has failed.
How do I cancel a programme on a Beko?
Hold Start/Pause for about three seconds. The machine drains and the door releases shortly after.
Can a Beko PCB be repaired?
Yes, in many cases, at component level. Otherwise we fit a genuine Beko board.
How long does a Beko pump replacement take?
About 40 minutes at your home.
Why is my Beko washer dryer not drying properly?
Fluff in the air path, a failed drying heater or thermostat, a stopped fan, or the cold tap turned off.
