Overview
One Click Dubai repairs Blomberg washing machines at home across Dubai, with a same-day visit. Blomberg washer repair with us covers freestanding front loaders, built-in models and Blomberg washer dryers.
Blomberg owners tend to look for troubleshooting help before they look for a technician, so this page is arranged as a troubleshooting guide first. It gives a table of faults with the checks to make, explains what flashing lights mean, and then goes through the door, the spin, start faults, leaks, draining and washer dryers in turn.
We fit genuine Blomberg parts, matched to the model number on the label inside the door.
Blomberg washing machine repair in Dubai: essentials
Blomberg washing machine repair in Dubai with One Click Dubai begins with a AED 100 diagnostic visit, plus VAT. The technician confirms the fault at your home and gives a fixed price before fitting anything.
Blomberg models begin with letters such as WNF, LWF, WMF or, for built-in machines, LWI and WMI. The label is inside the door opening. Blomberg is made by the same group as Beko, and many internal parts are shared.
Blomberg washing machine troubleshooting
Blomberg washing machine troubleshooting works best in a fixed order: confirm the supply, confirm the water, confirm the door, then look at the machine. This table follows that order for the common Blomberg washing machine problems.
Cancelling a programme
To stop a Blomberg and start again, hold Start/Pause for about three seconds. The machine drains and the door releases shortly afterwards. Switching off at the wall mid-programme leaves the drum full and the door locked, which makes every other check harder.
One reset, not five
If the machine misbehaves once, switch it off, unplug it for five minutes and try a short programme. Blomberg washing machine faults that return on the next run are real and need testing with a meter.
Blomberg washing machine flashing lights
Blomberg washing machine flashing lights are the machine's way of reporting a condition on models with indicator lights in place of a full display. Which light flashes tells you where to look.
On models with a display, the same conditions appear as a symbol or as a letter and number. Code numbering differs between Blomberg ranges, so note exactly what is shown and tell us with the model number. A ten-second video of the panel is the quickest way to pass it on.
Blomberg washing machine door locked
A Blomberg washing machine door locked after the programme will open a minute or two after the end, when the lock symbol goes out. A door that stays locked has water behind it or a lock that has stuck.
After the display shows the end of the programme.
If there is any in the drum, select a pump or spin programme, or drain at the filter.
Hold Start/Pause for three seconds if a programme is still running.
Then try the handle once.
Behind the pump filter cover on many models. Pull it down and push the door, with the drum empty of water.
Do not force it. The lock is replaced from the front in about half an hour.
A Blomberg washer door locked at the start, with the lock symbol blinking and no fill, has the opposite fault: the lock cannot close. That is the same part. See the door locked guide.
Blomberg washing machine not spinning
A Blomberg washing machine not spinning has, in most cases, skipped the spin because the drum had water in it, the load was uneven or there was too much foam. If a Blomberg washer is not spinning with an empty drum on the spin programme, a part has failed.
Slim-depth Blomberg models have a smaller drum for their rated load and are more sensitive to a single heavy item. Wash bath mats and single towels with other laundry. See the not spinning guide.
Blomberg washing machine not starting
A Blomberg washing machine not starting with its panel lit is waiting for the door lock, the child lock or a delay. A Blomberg washer not starting with a dark panel has no supply or a failed board.
Touch-control Blomberg panels become erratic if water gets behind the fascia. Dry the panel, leave the machine off for an hour and try again. If keys still fail or trigger by themselves, the display board is replaced. See the won't start guide.
Blomberg washing machine leaking
A Blomberg washing machine leaking has a fault at the door seal, the pump filter, the detergent drawer, a hose or the tub seal. The position of the water and the stage of the programme identify it.
Some Blomberg models have a water safety system that stops the machine when water reaches the base. If yours runs its pump continuously and will not fill, look for water inside the base before anything else.
Close the tap and unplug for an active leak, then call. The leaking guide helps with slow ones.
Blomberg washing machine not draining
A Blomberg washing machine not draining has a blocked pump filter in most cases. The filter is behind the cover at the bottom front, and clearing it is a ten-minute job.
And protect the floor.
Use the emergency drain hose if your model has one, into a shallow tray.
And remove lint, coins and clips.
It should turn with slight resistance.
Then check the drain hose for kinks and correct height.
And listen.
A pump that hums and moves nothing is jammed further in or has a broken impeller. A silent pump has failed electrically or is not being powered. Either way the pump is replaced at home in about 40 minutes. See the not draining guide.
Blomberg washer dryer not drying
A Blomberg washer dryer not drying, with the drum turning and the time counting down, has lost heat or airflow in the drying circuit.
Split a full wash load before drying. The drying capacity on the label is lower than the washing capacity. More is on our washer dryer repair page.
Built-in Blomberg washing machines
A built-in Blomberg sits behind a kitchen door under the worktop, and repairing one includes taking it out and refitting it cleanly.
The filter and feet are behind it.
It is hinged to the machine's front panel.
Brackets under the worktop.
On a protective sheet, with hoses checked for slack.
Feet reset, door aligned with the neighbouring doors, plinth back.
The door lock, door seal and filter are reached from the front. The belt, heater, motor and shock absorbers need the machine out. Built-in machines often have their drain hose kinked where it passes into the next cabinet, and that is the first check for any drain or spin fault.
Heating, long programmes and the control board
A Blomberg whose programmes overrun, with laundry coming out cold, has a heating fault. One that is dead or freezes has a board fault. Both are routine repairs.
Heating
Control board
We test the heater, pump, valves, lock and motor before condemning a board. Component faults are repaired on the bench in our workshop and the machine stays with you. Where a new board is needed, it is ordered by the full model number, because boards differ between versions of the same model.
Noise, bearings and shock absorbers
A Blomberg that has become loud has a worn or loose part, and the sound and its timing identify it.
Turn the drum by hand with the machine off. A rough feel or a rumble means bearings. Whether the bearings can be replaced alone or the tub assembly is needed depends on the model, and we confirm before quoting. See the noise guide.

Blomberg repair cost, and repair or replace
Blomberg washing machine repair in Dubai typically costs AED 150 to AED 450 at market rates for a door lock, pump, belt, brushes, seal or heater, and AED 400 to AED 950 for a board, motor or bearings. Our diagnostic visit is AED 100 plus VAT.
Most Blomberg repairs are completed in 45 to 90 minutes, with the part taken from the van. Where a model-specific part has to be ordered, you are told the date before the technician leaves.
Blomberg sits above the entry level, and built-in models in particular cost enough new that most repairs are justified. For a freestanding machine past eight years with a bearing or board failure, we lay out both options.
We cover all of Dubai, including Dubai Marina, JBR, Palm Jumeirah, JLT, Downtown, Business Bay, Jumeirah, Al Barsha, Dubai Hills and Deira. For other makes see washing machine repair.
Blomberg door seal: cleaning, mould and replacement
The door seal is the part of a Blomberg most affected by how the machine is used. It leaks when it is torn, smells when it is left wet, and is the first place to look for a lost sock or coin.
Cleaning
Pull back the fold of the seal all the way round and wipe out the grey film with a cloth and a little detergent. Check the small drain holes at the bottom of the fold and clear them with a cotton bud. Black spots that wipe off are surface mould. Black staining that has gone into the rubber will not come out and, if it is deep, the seal is best replaced.
Preventing mould
Replacement
A torn seal cannot be patched reliably. To replace it, we remove the outer wire band, peel the seal from the front panel, release the inner clamp on the tub lip, and fit the new seal with its drain holes at the bottom and its mark at the top. The front panel does not usually need to come off. A test wash is run with a torch on the join. Allow 45 minutes to an hour.
How a Blomberg drives its drum: brushed and inverter motors
Blomberg has built machines with two kinds of motor, and knowing which you have explains which faults are likely.
Both types turn the drum through a ribbed belt at the back. A belt lasts many years, and when one breaks early there is usually a reason: a bearing starting to fail, a pulley out of line, or the drum jammed by an object. We check for all three before fitting a new belt.
Softener left in the drawer, and other drawer faults
A Blomberg drawer that still holds softener or water after the wash has a blocked siphon. Powder left in the main compartment points to damp powder or weak water flow.
Open it fully, press the marked point in the softener compartment and pull.
Rinse it and the post it sits on until the narrow channel is clear.
Especially the jets in its roof.
And leave the drawer slightly open to dry.
Thick softener should be diluted and kept under the MAX line. If the compartment still fills with water and does not empty, an inlet valve is letting water dribble into it between fills, and the valve is replaced.
When a Blomberg programme will not finish
A Blomberg that sits at the same remaining time for a long while, or keeps adding minutes, is waiting for something to happen.
Note where it stuck and tell us. That one detail usually identifies the part before the machine has been opened.
How bearing failure develops, and when to act
Drum bearings do not fail overnight. The sequence is always the same, and the cost rises at each stage.
Nothing is heard yet. A faint rusty trail may appear on the back of the tub.
A low rumble at high speed, a little worse each month.
Lifting the front lip of the drum moves it against the tub.
Because the pulley is no longer running true.
At this point the repair needs far more than bearings.
Acting at the second or third stage keeps the repair to bearings and a seal, or a tub assembly on sealed-tub models. Waiting until the fourth or fifth often makes the machine uneconomic to repair.
Frequently asked questions
Why are the lights flashing on my Blomberg washing machine?
The machine is reporting a condition: paused, door not locked, no water, spin not completed or a stored fault. Note which light flashes.
