Overview
One Click Dubai repairs Candy washing machines in Dubai homes, with a technician sent the same day. We repair Candy Grand Vita, Smart, Bianca, CS and Rapid'O front loaders, Candy top loaders, and Alise washer dryers.
Candy owners tend to arrive here after trying a reset that did not work, or with an E03 that will not go away even though the filter is clean. Both get a full answer below, along with door locks, drums that will not turn, dead Start buttons, leaks and washer dryers that do not dry.
When a part is needed, we fit a genuine Candy part chosen by the model and serial number on the door label.
Candy washing machine repair in Dubai: what to expect
To repair a Candy washing machine in Dubai, we start with a AED 100 diagnostic visit, plus VAT, at your home. The technician tells you what has failed and what it will cost, and for most Candy faults the repair is completed during that visit.
The model code is on a sticker inside the door opening. It looks like GVS, CS, RO or GO followed by numbers, with a 16-digit serial number beside it.
Candy washing machine service center in Dubai
If you want a Candy washing machine service center in Dubai, or a Candy washing machine repair number, call or WhatsApp One Click Dubai on +971 55 209 9785. The service is carried out at your home, anywhere in the city.
Searching for a Candy washing machine service center near me usually means a machine that has stopped mid-wash. You do not need to move it. A door interlock, pump, belt, set of brushes, heater or door seal is fitted in your laundry area, and the washer is tested with a full cycle before the technician leaves.
A service on a Candy that still works covers the pump filter and its housing, the inlet filter, the drawer and its recess, the door seal, belt tension, brush wear on brushed motors, shock absorbers and a hot cleaning programme. Candy and Hoover machines are made by the same group and share many parts, so our stock covers both.
How to reset a Candy washing machine
To reset a Candy washing machine, turn the programme dial to OFF, wait for every light to go out, switch off at the wall socket for two minutes, then switch on and choose the programme again. This clears a stuck programme and a temporary error on every Candy range.
Is there a Candy washing machine reset button?
No Candy washing machine has a dedicated reset button. The OFF position on the dial is the reset. On touch models such as Bianca, the on/off key does it: hold it until the display goes dark. The Start/Pause button pauses a programme. It does not cancel it.
Resetting the programme step by step
Press Start/Pause and wait for the drum to stop moving.
Leave the dial on OFF for at least ten seconds.
Select Drain and Spin, or Spin alone, and press Start.
The door locked light goes out about two minutes after the cycle ends.
Turn the dial, set the options and press Start.
Factory reset and master reset
There is no user factory reset or master reset on a Candy washing machine that returns it to a new condition. The control keeps no personal settings worth wiping apart from the last options used and, on connected models, the Wi-Fi pairing. What people call a master reset is the cold restart: plug out for two minutes so that the electronics power down fully.
Grand Vita, Alise, Bianca and Smart resets
How to reset Candy washing machine Wi-Fi
On Candy machines with Wi-Fi, the connection is reset by starting the pairing again. Turn the dial to the Remote Control or Wi-Fi position, open the Candy app, remove the appliance from your account and add it again, following the on-screen steps for your model. The button combination that puts the machine into pairing mode differs by model and is printed in the manual's Wi-Fi section.
A Wi-Fi fault does not stop the machine washing. Every programme still runs from the dial. If the router was changed or its password updated, the washer has to be paired again from the beginning.
When a reset is not the answer
If the same error returns after a cold restart, stop resetting. The control is detecting a real fault, such as water that will not leave, a door that will not lock or a motor that will not turn, and each of those has its own section below.
Candy washing machine E03 with no blockage
A Candy washing machine showing E03 with no blockage in the filter still has a drain problem, because E03 means the control did not see the water level fall in time. If the filter is clean, the cause is further along: the pump itself, the hoses, the house drain, or the sensor that measures the water level.
On current Candy models the same fault is shown as Error 3, or three flashes of the light. Candy's own checks are the drain hose, the home drainage and the filter.
When the filter is already clean, the pump is the most likely answer, followed by a blocked sump hose and a blocked sink trap connection. A pump takes 40 minutes to change. Our not draining guide shows the hose and trap checks.
Candy washing machine door locked, door won't lock and lock replacement
A Candy washing machine door locked after a wash releases about two minutes after the programme ends, when the door locked light goes out. A Candy washing machine door lock problem exists when the door stays shut beyond that, or when the door won't lock at the start and the wash never begins.
How to unlock a Candy washing machine door
Turn the dial to OFF and wait two minutes. If water is visible, drain it through the pump filter with a tray and towels ready. Then switch off at the wall for five minutes and try the handle once, gently. If it does not open, leave it. A forced Candy door breaks at the handle and the frame, and that turns a small repair into a larger one.
Candy door interlock and door catch
The Candy door interlock is the electrical lock behind the front panel. The door catch is the hook and spring in the door. On the Grand Vita, the door lock fault we see most is a worn catch that no longer pushes the interlock far enough, so the machine lights up and will not start. We test both parts before replacing either.
Candy washing machine door lock replacement takes about half an hour at home: seal band off, two screws, new interlock, seal band back on. Our general door locked guide has more.
Candy washing machine drum not turning or not spinning
A Candy washing machine drum not turning at any stage has lost drive from the motor, and worn carbon brushes or a broken belt are the usual causes. A Candy washing machine not spinning only at the end, or not spinning fast, is more often held back by drainage, balance or foam.
Run the Spin programme on an empty drum. If it reaches full speed empty, the drive is sound and the load or the foam is the cause. If it does not, a part has failed.
Brushes on a Candy motor usually give warning. The spin gets weaker over a few weeks, and there may be a smell of hot carbon. Replacing them at that stage is cheap. Running on until the motor stops risks the motor and the triac on the control module. See the not spinning guide for more checks.
Candy Grand Vita washing machine problems
Candy Grand Vita washing machine problems that bring us out most are a door that will not lock, a drum that stops spinning, an E03 drain error and a Start button that does nothing. The Grand Vita is a simple, repairable machine, and all four are home repairs.
Because the Grand Vita was sold in several drum sizes with different motors and boards, we always order by the full model code and serial number, never by the name on the front.
Candy washing machine Start button not working or not starting
A Candy washing machine not starting, with the panel lit and the Start button not working, is usually blocked by the door lock, the key lock or a delay timer. A faulty button is the least likely cause.
A key symbol or light means the buttons are locked. Hold the pair of buttons shown in your manual for about three seconds.
Close it until it clicks. No door locked light after pressing Start points to the interlock or the catch.
Dial to OFF and reselect the programme to clear a delay.
Make sure the dial sits squarely on a programme.
Off at the wall for two minutes.
If the machine still ignores Start, the control module or the button mechanism has a fault. On dial models, the small plastic rod behind the Start button can snap. On touch models, damp behind the fascia stops the key sensing a finger. We repair or replace the affected part. A machine with no lights at all needs its socket, plug fuse and mains filter checked first. See also our guide to a washer that won't start.
Candy washing machine not draining
A Candy washing machine not draining stops with water in the drum and shows E03 or Error 3. Start with the filter, which is where most blockages sit.
And put a cloth and a low tray under the filter cover at the bottom front.
Slowly, letting the water out in stages.
Remove coins, clips and lint, and check the impeller turns.
A drop of liquid soap on the seal helps.
No bends, kinks or traps behind the machine.
If the water is still not draining after that, work through the table in the E03 section. Candy advises cleaning the filter five or six times a year.
Candy washing machine leaking from the bottom or underneath
A Candy washing machine leaking from the bottom is losing water at the pump filter, the pump, a hose or the tub seal. A Candy washing machine leaking from underneath only when it drains has a pump or drain hose fault.
After cleaning the filter, a leak at the front almost always means the filter was not screwed fully home. Remove it, wipe the seal and the thread, and refit it firmly.
Shut the tap and unplug the machine if the leak is active, then call. Our leaking guide covers slow leaks.
Candy washer dryers: not drying, and an Alise that will not spin
A Candy washer dryer not drying, with the drum turning and the laundry staying wet, has a fault in the drying circuit: a blocked fluff path, a failed drying heater, a tripped thermostat or a stopped fan. Candy washer dryer problems on the washing side are the same as on a washing machine.
Candy Alise washer dryer not spinning
An Alise that will not spin before drying leaves the laundry too wet to dry in any reasonable time. The causes are those of any Candy front loader: drain, balance, belt or brushes. Fix the spin first, and the drying usually returns to normal.
Drying capacity is lower than washing capacity on every washer dryer, and the two figures are on the door label. More on combined machines is on our washer dryer repair page.
Softener dispenser not draining, and a whining noise
Two smaller Candy complaints are worth covering because both have simple causes.
Candy washing machine softener dispenser not draining
Softener or water left in the drawer after each wash means the siphon cap in the softener compartment is clogged. Pull the drawer out, lift off the cap, rinse it and the tube under it, and clean the drawer recess. Keep softener under the MAX mark and thin it if it is thick.
Candy washing machine whining noise, or noisy when spinning
A Candy washing machine that is noisy when spinning has a worn belt, brushes, shock absorbers or bearings, and the kind of sound tells them apart. A whining noise that rises and falls with the drum speed comes from the motor or the belt. Worn brushes whine and crackle. A glazed belt whines at the start of the spin. A whine that continues after the drum has stopped is the drain pump running dry. Deeper rumbling is bearings. See the noise guide.
Candy repair cost, the visit and our areas
Candy washing machine repair in Dubai typically costs AED 150 to AED 450 at market rates for an interlock, catch, pump, belt, brushes, heater or seal, and AED 400 to AED 950 for a control module, motor or bearings. The diagnostic visit is AED 100 plus VAT.
Candy machines are low in price, so we are frank about value. Small parts are always worth fitting. For a module or bearings on a machine past seven or eight years, we set the repair price beside the cost of a new washer and let you choose.

Candy washing machine that washes cold or runs far too long
A Candy washing machine whose programme overruns by an hour or more, with laundry that comes out cold, has a heating fault. The control waits for the water to reach the set temperature before moving on, and when the water never warms, the programme stalls.
A split element can also trip the breaker a few minutes into the wash. If that happens, leave the machine unplugged until it has been tested with an insulation tester.
Candy washing machine installation and care
We install Candy washing machines and washer dryers, and a few points of care keep them out of trouble afterwards.
On models with KG Mode, the machine weighs the laundry in the first minutes of the Cotton and Synthetics programmes and adjusts water and time to suit, so avoid opening the door to add items once that has happened.
Frequently asked questions
