Overview

One Click Dubai repairs and services Samsung washing machines at home across Dubai, with same-day visits and bookings taken at any hour. Samsung washing machine repair covers front load and top load machines, fully automatic and semi automatic, EcoBubble, AddWash and Digital Inverter models and Samsung washer dryers, and every fault from a washer that will not spin to a control board that has failed.

We fit genuine Samsung parts and keep the common ones in stock, so most repairs are finished in one visit.

This page works through Samsung faults in the order owners meet them: not spinning, not draining, leaking, not starting, and a door that will not lock or unlock. It then covers what differs between Samsung model types, the error codes, the parts and what a repair costs in Dubai.

Samsung washing machine repair in Dubai: what we fix and what it costs

Samsung washing machine repair in Dubai from One Click Dubai starts with an AED 100 diagnostic visit, plus VAT, which finds the fault. You then get the price for the repair and decide. Market prices for the common Samsung repairs run from AED 150 for a belt or inlet valve to AED 800 for a control board or drum bearings.

Samsung washing machine service center in Dubai: what a visit includes

If you are looking for a Samsung washing machine service center in Dubai, our service comes to you. A technician arrives at your home with test equipment and genuine Samsung parts, diagnoses the machine where it stands, and repairs it there in most cases, so nothing has to be carried to a service centre.

1
Booking

By the online form, WhatsApp or phone. Send the model number from the sticker inside the door frame or on the back, and a photo of the display if it shows a code.

2
Diagnosis

The technician reads the stored codes, runs the machine's test mode, and tests the suspect parts with a meter. You are shown what has failed.

3
Price

One price for the part and the labour, given before any work starts. You can decline and pay only the diagnostic.

4
Repair

The genuine part is fitted, and the machine is run through fill, wash, drain and spin.

5
Invoice and warranty

You receive an invoice that names the part fitted, with a one-month warranty on parts and labour.

Samsung washing machine service, as well as repair

A service visit for a machine that still works covers the drain filter and pump housing, the door diaphragm, the inlet filters, the detergent drawer and its housing, the shock absorbers and the belt on belt-driven models. It ends with a calibration run and a test cycle. Samsung washer maintenance of this kind prevents most drain and leak faults.

Samsung washer not spinning

A Samsung washer not spinning has usually found a reason to protect itself: the load is unbalanced, the water has not drained, or the door lock has not confirmed. Only after those are ruled out is the fault in the motor, its sensor or the control board. The display often shows UE, Ub or dC when spin is refused.

Samsung's own steps for UE and Ub

1
Redistribute the laundry

A single heavy item, or a load knotted inside a duvet cover, cannot balance.

2
Check the floor and the feet

The machine must stand on a flat, firm surface with all four feet down.

3
Let it recalibrate

Unplug the machine for ten minutes, then leave it idle for five after plugging back in.

4
Run Calibration, if your model has it

The manual gives the button combination. It resets the weight sensing after a move or a power cut.

When the spin is the fault

If a level machine with an even load keeps refusing to spin, the parts to test are the shock absorbers on a front loader, the suspension rods on a top loader, the motor's position sensor and the drive circuit on the main board. On a Samsung washing machine not spin drying properly, a partly blocked drain is also common: the water leaves too slowly and the spin is cut short.

Samsung washer not draining

A Samsung washer not draining shows 5C, 5E or nd and leaves water in the drum. Samsung gives three causes: a clogged debris filter, a blocked drain hose, or a hose that is installed wrongly. The buttons are disabled for about three minutes after the code appears, which makes the machine seem dead.

1
Drain the drum

On a front loader, switch off at the socket, open the small cover at the bottom front, pull out the emergency drain tube, remove its cap and let the water run into a shallow tray. There is a lot of it. Recap the tube and push it back.

2
Clean the debris filter

Turn it anticlockwise and pull it out. Remove coins, hair pins and lint, rinse it, wipe inside the housing, and screw it back clockwise until tight.

3
Check the drain hose

It should be clipped in place, free of kinks, and rise at least 60 cm above the floor before it enters the standpipe or sink trap.

4
Check the waste connection

On a new installation, make sure the blanking cap inside the sink spigot was removed.

If the code comes back

Pump hums but moves no water. something is jammed in the impeller, or the impeller has come loose on its shaft.
Silence at the point of draining. the drain pump has failed, or it is not receiving power from the board.
Drains slowly and the spin is skipped. partial blockage in the sump hose between the drum and the pump.
Drains, then refills. the hose is too low and the machine is siphoning.

We clear the sump and pump housing, test the pump, and replace it with a genuine Samsung front load washer drain pump when it has failed. Water drained after a hot wash is hot. Let the machine cool first.

On a Samsung top loader the emergency drain tube does not exist. Do not try to improvise one. Bail the water from above if you must, and book a visit.

Samsung washer leaking from the bottom, or from the door

A Samsung washer leaking from the bottom usually has a loose filter cap, a split sump hose, a worn pump seal or a hole in the door diaphragm that lets water run down inside the cabinet. Samsung machines with a leak sensor in the base show LC, LE or 1C, drain themselves and stop.

The Samsung door seal, or gasket

The grey rubber diaphragm round the door of an EcoBubble front loader traps moisture in its lower fold. Mould grows there, and small objects such as hair pins and bra wires wear holes in it. Samsung advises wiping it dry after each wash. A Samsung washing machine door seal replacement takes about an hour, and we fit the genuine seal for the model, because near-fit seals leak at the clamp.

If the LC code returns after you have checked the caps, switch the machine off and close the tap. Water is reaching the base tray, and the leak needs finding.

Samsung washer turns on but will not start the cycle

A Samsung washing machine not working, one that turns on but will not start the cycle, is waiting for something: the door lock, the water supply, or the release of a lock setting. A machine with no power and no lights has a supply or main board fault. The two are different repairs.

What you seeLikely causeFirst check

Resetting a Samsung washer, once

Unplug the machine or switch it off at the breaker, wait one to five minutes, and switch it back on. Samsung's guidance is that a reset can clear a code without fixing its cause, and that a code which returns should not be cleared again and again, because each reset wipes the stored error history a technician uses. Reset once. If the fault returns, note the code and book.

Samsung washer locked, or the door will not lock

A Samsung washer door stays locked while the machine detects water inside or the drum is still turning, and it releases a minute or two after the cycle ends. A door that stays locked on an empty, stopped machine, or one that will not lock at all, points to the door lock assembly.

Samsung washer locked and will not open

1
Check Child Lock

A lock symbol on the display means the controls are locked. On some models it also holds the door.

2
Wait for the lock light

Give it two minutes after the cycle ends. The light goes out when the lock releases.

3
Drain the water

A front loader holds the lock while water is detected. Use the emergency drain tube at the bottom front.

4
Power off and on

Switch off at the socket for a minute. On restart you should hear the lock click.

Do not force the handle. The handle and its hinge break before the lock gives.

Samsung washer door not locking

Locks, then unlocks during the cycle. worn lock, or a loose connection at the lock plug.

The door lock is a quick repair with the part in stock. Our door locked guide covers the general steps for any make.

Noise, vibration and bearing faults

A noisy Samsung washer is telling you which part has worn, and when the noise happens narrows it down. Banging in the spin is balance or suspension. A roar that grows with spin speed is the drum bearings. A buzz while draining is the pump.

NoiseWhenLikely cause
Banging, machine walksSpinUnbalanced load, feet not level, shock absorbers or suspension rods worn
Violent shaking on a new machineFirst spinTransit bolts still fitted at the back
Low roar, louder each weekSpinDrum bearings. The drum also has play when lifted at the rim
Rattle or scrapeWhenever the drum turnsCoin or bra wire between drum and tub
BuzzingDrainingObject in the drain pump
Loud hum, no movementStart of wash or spinMotor trying against a jammed drum. Switch off
Knock once per turnWashLoose drum paddle, or a cracked drum spider

Bearing noise on a Samsung

Samsung washing machine bearing noise starts as a rumble on fast spin and ends as a roar at every speed, with brown marks on the laundry when the seal has gone. Replacing the bearings means removing the tub. On Samsung models with a bolted tub, new bearings and a seal are fitted. On models with a welded tub, the tub assembly is replaced, which costs more, and we tell you which you have before quoting.

Our noise guide has a fuller list for any make.

Not rinsing, not filling, and stopping at the rinse cycle

A Samsung washing machine that stops at the rinse cycle, or is not rinsing, usually cannot take in or get rid of water at that stage. Rinse needs a fresh fill and a drain, so a weak inlet or a slow drain shows up here before it shows anywhere else.

Stops at rinse with 4C or 4E. water supply. Check the tap is fully open and the inlet hose is not crushed. Clean the small mesh filters where the hose joins the machine.
Stops at rinse with 5C or 5E. drain. Clean the debris filter.
Stops with SUd or 5Ud. too many suds. The machine pauses to let the foam settle. Use less detergent, and a high-efficiency type.
Rinses, but clothes come out soapy. overdosing, an overloaded drum, or a softener compartment that is not emptying.
Not taking water at all, and no code. inlet valve, or the water-level sensor.

Detergent drawer not emptying

If the detergent or softener is still in the drawer at the end, the drawer's water jets are blocked with dried detergent, or the water pressure is low. Pull the drawer out fully, wash it, and scrub the roof of the housing where the jets are.

Hot and cold hoses

On models with two inlets, the hot hose goes to the hot tap and the cold to the cold. Crossed hoses, or a hot inlet connected where there is no hot supply, give temperature codes such as 4C2 or HC.

Samsung front load and top load: what differs at repair

Samsung front load and top load washers share a brand and little else. They have different drives, different suspension and different common faults, and several of Samsung's own instructions apply to one type only.

Will not start, lid closed. lid switch.
Leaking underneath. drain hose connection, pump, or the tub seal.
Belt squeal, or the motor runs and the tub does not. belt worn or off its pulley.

A top loader that lost power mid-cycle can take up to five minutes to resume. Wait before assuming it has failed.

EcoBubble, AddWash and Digital Inverter models

Samsung's named technologies add parts that ordinary machines do not have, and each brings a fault of its own. Knowing which your machine has helps you describe the problem and helps us bring the right part.

FeatureWhat it addsFault of its own
EcoBubbleA bubble generator that mixes air, water and detergent before the washWeak or no foam at the start, leaks at the generator hose, detergent residue blocking it
AddWashA small door set into the main doorddC code when it is not latched, a worn add-door seal, a failed add-door switch
Digital Inverter motorA brushless motor with no carbon brushes to wearRarely the motor. More often its hall sensor or the drive circuit on the board
QuickDriveA rotating back plate inside the drumNoise from the plate drive, objects caught behind the plate
Auto DoseTanks that dose detergent and softenerDosing pump blocked by thick or dried detergent
Samsung washer dryerA heater, fan and condenser for dryingClothes left damp, usually from a lint-clogged air path

A Samsung EcoBubble that is not drying clothes after the spin is a washer with a spin or drain problem, since EcoBubble washers do not dry. If yours is a washer dryer, see washer dryer repair.

Samsung error codes: a reference table

Samsung groups its washing machine codes by the kind of problem. The same fault can show as different codes on different models, so use the group to choose the check, and send us a photo of the display. Letter case matters on some codes.

Samsung PCB and control board repair

Samsung washing machine PCB repair deals with the main board that runs the motor, the valves, the pump and the display. A board can be repaired at component level when the damage is limited to a relay, a capacitor or a burnt track. A board with widespread damage is replaced with the genuine part for the model.

Signs of a board fault. a dead machine with power at the socket, a cycle that stops at random, buttons that act alone, or a motor code on a machine whose motor tests good.
What damages Samsung boards. power surges, water from a leaking diaphragm or drawer, and a shorted pump or heater taking the board's drive circuit with it.
What is tested first. the door lock, pump, heater, motor and wiring loom. A new board fitted without finding the cause fails again.
How it is done. the board is removed and repaired on the bench in our workshop while the machine stays with you.

If you were quoted a Samsung washing machine motherboard repair cost without any test of the lock or the motor sensor, ask what was measured. Many boards are blamed for a part that costs a fraction as much.

Samsung washing machine repair cost in Dubai

Samsung washing machine repair cost in Dubai is typically AED 150 to AED 500 for the common faults, and AED 400 to AED 1,000 for a main board, bearings or a motor. Our diagnostic visit is AED 100 plus VAT, and the repair price is agreed before work starts.

A new Samsung 7 kg front loader sells for roughly AED 1,400 to AED 1,500 in Dubai, and a 9 kg model for about AED 2,700. A repair under half the price of a comparable new machine is usually worth doing. We give you both figures.

Samsung washing machine installation

We install Samsung front load and top load washing machines, new or after a move. Installation takes about an hour and prevents the faults that show up in the first week: shaking, a drain code, or a leak at the tap.

1
Remove the shipping bolts

Samsung front loaders travel with bolts through the back panel that lock the drum. All of them must come out, and the plastic caps supplied go into the holes. Keep the bolts for the next move.

2
Level the machine

Adjust the feet until the machine does not rock, then tighten the lock nuts. An unlevel machine gives the UE code.

3
Connect the water

Cold hose to the cold tap, with its rubber washer in place. On models with two inlets, hot to hot.

4
Set the drain hose

Clipped up so it rises at least 60 cm, and not pushed far down the standpipe.

5
Power

Straight into a wall socket. Samsung's voltage codes appear on machines run from extension leads.

6
Calibrate and test

Run Calibration if the model has it, then a short empty cycle.

A Samsung washer pedestal or stacking kit is fitted at the same visit if you have one.

Samsung washer maintenance

Samsung washing machine maintenance comes down to five habits, each taken from Samsung's own advice. Together they prevent most of the drain, leak and odour faults we are called to.

Clean the debris filter five or six times a year.
Wipe the door diaphragm dry after each wash, and leave the door ajar.
Run the Drum Clean or Eco Drum Clean programme once a month, empty. The machine prompts for it on many models.
Use the dose of detergent on the pack, in a high-efficiency type. Too much gives the SUd code and leaves residue.
Keep the machine level, and do not overload the drum.
Pull out and wash the detergent drawer every month or two.
Plug straight into a wall socket.

For a deeper clean of a machine that already smells, see our washing machine cleaning guide.

Frequently asked questions

How long does a Samsung washing machine repair take?

Most repairs take 60 to 90 minutes at your home. Bearing and board repairs that go to the workshop take longer, and you are given a return date.

Do you use genuine Samsung parts?

Yes. Parts are matched to the model number on your machine's rating sticker.

My Samsung washer shows 5E or 5C. What should I do?

Drain the drum through the emergency tube, clean the debris filter and check the drain hose. If the code returns, the drain pump needs testing.

What does UE mean on a Samsung washing machine?

The load is unbalanced. Spread the laundry, check the machine is level, and try the spin again. If it repeats with an even load, the shock absorbers or suspension rods are worn.

How do I reset my Samsung washing machine?

Switch it off at the socket for one to five minutes and switch it back on. Do it once. If the code returns, note it and book a visit.

Why does my Samsung washer smell?

Mould in the door diaphragm fold and the drawer. Wipe the diaphragm, wash the drawer, and run Drum Clean monthly.

Can you repair a Samsung top load washing machine at home?

Yes. Suspension rods, lid switches, pumps and belts are all changed on site.

Is the Samsung Digital Inverter motor covered by a longer warranty?

On many models, yes. Check your warranty card and proof of purchase before paying for a motor.

Do you install Samsung washing machines?

Yes, including removing the shipping bolts, levelling, connecting and testing.

Do you service Samsung washer dryers?

Yes. The washing side is repaired as described here, and the drying side is covered on our washer dryer page.
