If that drain motor is weak or its cable has stretched, the valve opens only partly and the clutch never fully changes over. Top load automatic
Most Haier top loaders in Dubai drain by gravity through a valve at the bottom of the tub, opened by the drain motor. The drain hose must lie low, along the floor to a floor drain. If the hose has been lifted over a sink edge on a gravity-drain model, the machine cannot empty. Models with a pump, which can drain upward, are marked as such on the label.
If the hose is correct, the valve itself may be held shut by a coin or a hair band, or the drain motor has failed. Both are reached from underneath or from the back, and both are home repairs.
Self-syphoning
Haier's manual gives a second meaning for E4, its fill error: the drain hose is self-syphoning. Water leaves as fast as it enters, so the level is never reached. The cure is to fix the hose at the correct height and leave an air gap at the standpipe. See the not draining guide for hose positions.

A Haier washing machine door locked after the wash will release once the drum has stopped and the water has gone, usually within two minutes. A Haier washing machine door lock problem exists when the door stays locked beyond that, or when the machine will not start and shows E2, which Haier describes as a lock error.
How to unlock a Haier washing machine door safely
Switch off, unplug and wait five minutes. If you can see water, drain it at the filter first. Some Haier front loaders have a release tab or cord beside the filter for exactly this case, and the manual for your model shows where. Do not pull hard on the handle, because the handle and hook break long before the lock gives way.
